SB 895, as amended, Wiener. California Science and Health Research Bond Act

SB 895 establishes a statewide bond initiative to fund scientific and health research in California, supporting universities and research institutions to advance innovation, disease prevention, and public health.

SB-869 Restaurant menus: added sugar warnings

SB 869 establishes legislative intent to require warning labels on restaurant menus for beverages containing more than 50% of the recommended daily sugar intake

AB-1547 University of California: branch campus of a school of medicine in the County of Kern: feasibility study

AB 1547 directs the University of California to conduct a feasibility study on establishing a branch medical school campus in Kern County, evaluating costs, infrastructure, and long-term workforce impact in underserved regions.
